I have seen The Phantom of the Opera three times in Pittsburgh and once on Broadway. My best friend Jordan and I took a bus trip to NYC when we were seventeen to go see it. It was an unforgettable experience. The show was fantastic!
On Saturday, I showed mom around the North Hills area of Pittsburgh. We did a little shopping at the mall, then headed across the city to my old neck-of-the-woods. We went to see my cousins Joe and Heather. They recently had their third baby this past July, and Mom hadn't seen the baby yet. We spent a few hours at their house. I played volleyball and soccer with Giustino and watched Mario ride his bike. Those two crack me up with the things that come out of their mouths.
After we visited, Mom and I went to a craft store called Pat Catan's. Aunt Vonda met us there, and the three of us spent a good two hours in that one store. I was looking for Fall/Halloween/Harvest decorations for the house. Until that day, I did not have any. I felt accomplished with my purchases, and they give the house a nice touch!
These are my mini wooden pumpkins that sit on the window ledge of the dining room window. I think the dining room is the closest room to being completely done. I just have to convince Marc to put up curtains of some sort.
My his and her scarecrows that sit on the TV stand. I thought they were cute.
My only Halloween decoration thus far. I just purchased a few more items from a website that should be coming in a few weeks. I know it is a little early to put out this Halloween items, but it was just one.
These are the cute ceramic pumpkins that we found. They sit at the end of our long table in the entrance. I like them because they were different, and you don't see something like these every day.
Although it looks like a fall item, this is my favorite. It is the centerpiece for the dining room table. The arrangement was already made when I purchased it. The flowers and berries are in a ceramic teapot. Mom spotted it at the store, and I just had to have it.
I am very excited that the house is coming together. Mr. Myszak is coming this weekend, and Marc has a whole list of things to get accomplished. We will soon have a kitchen floor!
